See What PAC is Up To....

With plenty of June moisture coupled with sunny, warm days...plants, trees, grass and seeds are sprouting at PAC. Staff nurture the vegetable and flower starts planted by Little Wrangler Day Campers...

And, this week, when the Wyoming Highway Patrol is at PAC for training, Officers share some K-9 time with our day campers.  The kids loved learning how the canine assists law officers in their jobs:

Thank you, WHP, for sharing your time and K-9 expertise with us!
What's next?

BEHIND THE SCENES....

As I wrote a few days ago, we’ve been hard at work to get PAC ready for a busy 2016 summer season!

In addition to the pictures posted June 8th, check out a few more snapshots to give you a peek into (just some of) the work being done.

As well as cleaning and maintenance, Staff have engaged in active shooter training led by law enforcement, as well as other department specific trainings throughout the week.

We will be ready to see you MONDAY, JUNE 13TH, when the doors open at 5am!

PAC STAFF BUSY AT WORK!

Though PAC is closed to the public this week, from June 6 – 12, a lot is happening inside!

This is the week of the year when BIG maintenance and custodial tasks can be completed when areas are not being used by our patrons.  We deep clean, wash, scrub, paint and repair.  Outside vendors that need time for a product to dry and cure come to provide their services.

Staff plan for many weeks what supplies and equipment will be needed to accomplish the SHUTDOWN list that has been compiled all year…since the last SHUTDOWN.  Each day, task lists and checklists are crossed off as our industrious Staff take care of business.

Additionally, staff in-services are held that encompass everything from emergency first aid scenarios that could occur in various parts of the building, to an active shooter drill with law enforcement.
Any final updates on summer schedules are determined, forms are all updated, winter all packed up and put away...and summer ushered in.

In short, PAC is "spit polished" and made ready for YOU!

This year, SUMMER BEGINS MONDAY, JUNE 13TH.  The doors open at 5am Monday through Friday and close at 7pm.  Saturday hours are 10am – 6pm.  PAC is closed on Sunday.   Spend time on our website to peruse your options from personal training, tennis clinics, climbing outings, outdoor fitness classes, adventure days, a family overnight camping trip, to the kids coming everyday for our fun and educational Little Wrangler Day Camp.  Everyone signed up for swim lessons?!

Meanwhile, see what is happening this week at PAC:
